Wallscourt learners master the art of touch typing

Learners in Year 6 at Wallscourt Farm Academy have been developing an exciting new skill – touch typing.
Using the engaging and interactive program Nessy Fingers, pupils have been practising their typing through fun, game-based learning activities.
Their hard work is paying off, with typing speeds and accuracy improving week by week. What’s more, many learners have taken their enthusiasm beyond the classroom, continuing to practise and play typing games at home.
This new skill is helping learners become more confident and efficient in their digital work, as an important step in preparing them for the technological world ahead.
