Wallscourt opens inspiring new library

It has been a very exciting week at Wallscourt Farm Academy with the official opening of the school’s brand-new library space.

Learners from across the school have greatly enjoyed visiting the new area and immersing themselves in a wide range of new texts.

The library’s specially-designed reading nooks and reading portal have been incredibly popular, offering cosy and imaginative spaces where learners can lose themselves in a good book.

School leaders are excited to continue developing this space over the coming year, with more shelves and books due to arrive throughout the year to further enrich learners’ reading experiences.

Learners have shared their enthusiasm, saying:

“I love all of the new books – they look so enticing on the shelves!”
“The nooks are so cosy. They are the best places to read.”
“The reading portal is a great place for me to read with friends and enjoy books – the whole library is super cool.”
