Wallscourt pupils explore chocolate and creativity

Learners in Year 3 at Wallscourt Farm Academy enjoyed some delicious chocolate treats as part of their first Author’s Enquiry.
This tasty experience inspired some excellent descriptive writing and drawing on Grendel, a cautionary tale about a chocolate-loving monster who discovers three magical wishes after finding a hidden note inside a chocolate egg.
Reuben Boocock, Year 3 class teacher and Assistant Principal, said: “We always look for ways to bring stories to life for our learners.
“Starting the year with chocolate really captured their imaginations, and it has been wonderful to see how this experience has sparked such creative and thoughtful writing.”
