Year 6 crowned winners of reading at home trophy

Year 6 pupils at Wallscourt Farm Academy have done exceptionally well and have proudly won this term’s reading at home trophy for completing the highest number of reads at home last year.
Learners have demonstrated an incredible passion for reading, showing a great desire to explore a wide range of engaging books and challenging texts.
Their enthusiasm has sparked an inspiring ‘reading buzz’ throughout the school, particularly emanating from Elm Learning Zone, where their love of stories and knowledge shines through.
Jon Miller, Assistant Principal and Year 6 Teacher, said: “I am extremely proud of our Year 6 learners for their commitment to reading.
“Their hard work and excitement for books are truly infectious and set a fantastic example for the rest of the school.
“This achievement reflects their determination, curiosity, and love of learning.”
The school looks forward to seeing how this enthusiasm for reading will continue to grow and inspire others in the months ahead.
